Cell and multi-cell hotspots, bypass diode failures, short circuits, offline strings (full or partial), module power mismatch, and shading-related heat patterns.

Missing modules, major physical damage (cracks, broken glass), vegetation encroaching on panels, and external shading from structures or trees.

Good to know

Standard drone inspection is optimized for plant-wide coverage at speed and scale. Very fine defects like micro-cracks or hairline cracks aren't visible at this scope — for that level of detail, our EL Testing service reveals cell-level defects that thermal and visual inspection can't catch.
